After leaving their native India, my parents embraced sustenance in the United States for the myriad educational and professional opportunities it affords its citizens. From my earliest memories, my parents back up me to do everything possible to succeed. Yet their curiousness with American culture placed me at a different disadvantage when I started elementary school. Guided by my stark Indian upbringing, I had a difficult time decision my place in a culture that celebrates sports icons and MTV. With a burgeoning Indian and Asian population, my company eventually became much tolerant of pagan diversity. Yet, throughout my early childhood, my parents and I simultaneously struggled to integrate ourselves into mainstream society. My superior challenge was gaining word meaning into a peer foundation whose values were inherently superficial. steady as a modern child, I knew that other parents did not share my familys passion for education. academia became my salvation. With a natural aptness for math and science, I became integrity my schools most popular ready reckoner jocks. I brought adore to the school, winning second place in the national tilt in Technology Concepts, sponsored by the early Business leading of America. With my participation on the school publisher and Model UN, I found my niche among a group of academically-gifted students.
