The Meaning of Life : A Look Through the Matrix.

Junior Shin

The Meaning of Life

In the Linnaean system of clanification, humans are categorised as Animalia. Because we have a backbone, hair, suckle our young, and share real morphological characteristics with apes and monkeys, we also belong to the Chordata phylum, the Mammalia class and the Primate order, among others. In this system, the only classify that clearly separates us from the monkeys and gorillas is the Homo genus, being our generic smorgasbord as human. Scientists worldwide have accepted this motley, but in theory, what real equity does this label hold?

Oddly enough, the careful review of human classification by this approach makes it seem indisputably flawed. Although it may hold confessedly that we have large physical similarities with the lower class of primates, our psychogenic capacities are incomparable. Unfortunately enough, humans are given the capabilities for analytical intelligence and reflective thought; because of this, mankind is the only grouping with so many blessings and curses simultaneously. Agent Smith of the Matrix historied this difference:

Id like to share a revelation I had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I effected that youre not actually mammals. Every mammal on this artificial satellite instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding purlieu but you humans do not. You move to an area and you cipher until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you faecal matter survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern.

Do you know what it is? A virus.

Agent Smith was correct in one aspect of his rehearsal -- humans are not mammals, but his new classification of our species was inaccurate, mainly because he did not have the means or perception to understand our race. Humans...

Very fun to read.

However, I dont agree with your conclusion. How says that graven image is the ultimate goal? What is perfection?

If something is perfect does that mean that no further improvement is necessary? What about evolution?
